The Residence
This former Grade II listed chapel was built in 1837 and subsequently remodelled circa 1890. This fine property has been the subject of extensive renovation by its present owners and now presents itself as a large comfortable home. The accommodation offers a superb reception hall with turning staircase to a large galleried first floor landing and 5 first floor bedrooms (master en-suite). The property combines the original Gothic style with modern contemporary themes. The character features of stone and leaded pointed windows are complemented by solid oak flooring throughout and a magnificent bespoke concrete and oak kitchen. A delightful and quirky feature of Hideaway House is its private approach down a part cobbled walled pathway from Maiden Street. The versatile and immaculately presented accommodation offers superb living space and benefits from gas fired under-floor heating throughout.
